Welcome to Deal Tree Health Centre
The practice was founded in 1960 and has since expanded so that it now consists of four partners and twenty staff.We moved into our new purpose built building in 2012 and from this we aim to provide family medicine of the highest standards for the benefit of our patients.
As well as a source of information about our practice, the staff & the services we provide, we hope you use the website as a useful resource with links to other reliable websites for health related information. If there is topical health information we will also add this to the website.
Now Booking: Flu Vaccinations
Online and Over the Phone
We are now booking flu vaccination appointments for those aged over 65. Where possible, we would encourage patients to book their appointment via the Online Services page. This will help reduce pressure on our phone lines.
If you are not yet registered for online services, please email a copy of your photo ID (either a valid photo driving licence or passport) to email@example.com and your login details will be emailed to you. If you do not have any photo ID, please contact our Reception team by telephone and they will arrange your registration.
To minimise the spread of infection, the following changes to our services are being enforced:
Please be aware that we will be CLOSED for training from 1300 on Tuesday 3 November 2020. Our telephone lines will reopen at 0830 on Wednesday 4 November.
While we are closed, please use NHS111 Service if you urgently need medical help or advice and it is not life-threatening. Call 999 for any emergency or anything life threatening.
The doors of Deal Tree Health Centre will only be open weekdays between the following times:
- For leaving sample bottles only: 1045-1100
- For Dispensary by appointment only: 1100-1300 and 1600-1800
Do NOT come to the surgery for any other reason.
When attending the surgery, please ensure that you wear a face mask over your nose and mouth to help protect our staff.
Please do NOT come to the surgery if you have any of the following symptoms: cough, fever, hoarse voice, nasal discharge, congestion, sneezing or other flu-like symptoms.
Currently, our receptionists are unable to book face-to-face appointments with the GPs. Instead patients will continue to be booked in for a telephone triage appointment where a GP will contact them by phone to discuss their symptoms. Following this call, if the GP feels it is clinically necessary to see them in person they will arrange this directly with the patient.
